We are very excited to announce the third and final Keynote Speaker for the 11th Founder Showcase, taking place on Wednesday, July 25th at Microsoft’s Mountain View Campus: Kevin Rose, Founder of Digg and Venture Partner at Google Ventures.. He will join Aaron Levie (Co-Founder and CEO of Box) and Hiten Shah (CEO of KISSmetrics) on stage for what may very well be our most impressive roster of speakers ever.
Most people know Kevin as the Founder of Digg, the original user-driven content site. He also founded WeFollow, and co-founded Revision3, Pownce (acquired by Six Apart), and Milk (acquired by Google).
Nowadays, Kevin serves as a Senior Product Manager and Venture Partner at Google Ventures, where he is focusing on early-stage and seed investments. He also runs a great video newsletter featuring interviews with top entrepreneurs called Foundation, which you will definitely want to check out.
Kevin is undoubtedly one of the most influential people on the internet. In fact, both Time and BusinessWeek named him in the “Top 25 Most Influential People on the Web”. In addition, Kevin was also named a “Top 25 Angel Investor” by Bloomberg, having invested in a slew of successful companies – including Facebook, Fab, Foursquare, ngmoco, OMGPOP, Path, Square, Twitter, and Zynga, just to name a few.
